Relegated from League One to Two–What happened next?

Forty teams have been relegated to Division Two during the last decade.

10/40 finished in the top four, though only Walsall (2006/2007) won the title.

23/40 (57.5%) occupied positions between fifth and nineteenth place, with seven finishing in the lower echelons of the division.

Just one (Luton in 2008/2009) finished bottom of the pile. 

Ending on a positive note, ten of the forty teams were promoted.
