Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed striker Wayne Rooney will miss ‘up to 3 weeks’ of action with injury. The 24 year-old picked up an ankle injury and will miss United’s trip to Valencia, whilst he’s also out of England’s Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro.
But it’s Champions League action up first, with United winning just once in their last 18 trips to Spain. It’s been nine years since Ferguson took his team to Valencia and he says the current La Liga leaders will prove to be a tough challenge.
United are best price of 17/10 with Bet365, Blue Square and 888sport, whilst Valencia are 7/4 with Victor Chandler. The draw is avaialble at 23/10 with Paddy Power.
